Disadvantages of the Isuzu 4JB1 engine
- These are very reliable diesel engines, analogues of which are often used in industry;
- Zexel fuel equipment runs for a long time, but there are problems with its spare parts;
- Monitor the condition of the timing belt, or if it breaks, at least the rods will bend;
- Sometimes it cuts off the gears of the oil pump and breaks the keyway on the crankshaft;
- According to the regulations, the thermal clearances of the valves must be adjusted every 40,000 km.
